I'm gonna be like everybody else.
I don't have an interesting subject on which to focus a blog, like Mia does, so instead I plan to just make random comments as the mood strikes me. This is especially attractive lately, since I've been spending a lot of hours alone in a cleanroom (I'm a microbiologist ... it's not like I've confined myself to a cleanroom to make some kind of statement or anything. You know, "I will remain in this room containing less than than one thousand particles larger than 0.5 microns in each cubic foot of air space until people stop using the non-word irregardless!!" Nothing like that.)
As a result of all of this time alone, with only the whooshing of the filters to keep me company, I have a lot of thoughts that don't get expressed. So I'll put them here, just in case the aforementioned bored soul may be interested.
I think I've finally resigned myself to the fact that iTunes is better than Musicmatch Jukebox, IMO. I tried to remain loyal to Musicmatch, because #1, I paid for it, and #2, it seemed to be the underdog. However, my copy is constantly freezing, which is crazy annoying, and iTunes just has a better interface.
I've been using both of them a lot, because I'm finishing my Super Ultimate Ginormous Compilation of 90s music. I'll post a link to the list later. The 80s are next ... any songs that I absolutely must have? I don't remember as much of the 80s, particularly the early 80s, because I was born in 1978 so I spent the early 80s blowing out orange M&Ms that found their way up my nose, and learning to tie my shoes, and stuff like that. So yeah, if you're out there, talk to me about 80s songs.
And finally, that Exorcist: The Beginning preview makes me want to cry with horror. That is all.
