Ramble Strip

There's no stripping. (Sorry.) But there's rambling, usually in the area of science, politics, pop culture, signs that are irritatingly misspelled, and religion, or anything that happens to be on my mind at the time. I post on study breaks, so that I don't go insane. Insaaaaaaaane!

Welcome back, Family(EEEEEEEEE!) Guy!

Speaking of funny (so I wasn't, oh well) Family Guy returned last night. Yaaaaaaaay! Of course they were edgy right out of the box (well, almost.) Add water, instant edgy. Or, add water, edgy in approximately 90 seconds. As usual, there were a couple of things in the episode that were a little over-the-top for me, but overall, it was classic Family Guy.

And what a great first scene:

Peter:  Everybody I've got bad news. We've been cancelled.
Lois:  Oh no, Peter, how could they do that?
Peter:  Well, unfortunately Lois, there's just no more room on the schedule. We've got to accept the fact that Fox has to make room for terrific shows like Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80s Show, Wonderfalls, Fast Lane, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Skin, Girls Club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda at Large, Costello, The Lone Gunman, A Minute With Stan Hooper, Normal Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddie, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric the Entertainer, the Tick, Louie, and Greg the Bunny.
Lois:  Is there no hope?
Peter:  Well, I suppose if all those shows go down the tubes, we might have a shot.
Heh.

Oh, and look! I have the episode mpeg video uploaded, in three parts (the three parts between commercial breaks). This is really going to eat bandwidth, so I'll have to remove them after about ten downloads each. But I must share the hilarity! Oh, and if you know my friend Goldie, and I've already pulled the files, email me if you want them. :-)

Please right-click and "save as".
Part 1 (~64MB)
Part 2 (~88MB)
Part 3 (~61MB)

UPDATE (May 7, 2005) - Files removed! Unfortunately, I can't yet afford a hosting package with more bandwidth. :-)
